RMI – Building a Resilient Pittsburgh Recap
Check out the Rocky Mountain Institute's (RMI) thought-provoking presentation on Urban Transformation.
Since 1947, ULI”s Advisory Services Program has helped more than 700 communities find independent, strategic, and practical solutions for the most challenging land-use issues. From June 6 to June 9 a panel of volunteer real estate professionals from across the country spent three days in Pittsburgh’s East Shore communities of Braddock, North Braddock, Rankin, and Swissvale touring sites and interviewing more than 30 community stakeholders to formulate recommendations for the economic development of the boroughs. The preliminary findings were presented during a public meeting on June 9th and will be further detailed in a publication due out later this summer and a ULI Pittsburgh event this fall. More about ULI’s Advisory Services Program is available on the website (Link).
