    George HONGCHOY joined Link Asset Management Limited, the manager of Hong Kong listed Link Real Estate Investment Trust in January 2009, and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in May 2010. Since George became CEO, Link’s market capitalisation has increased from USD USD5.4 billion to USD21.1 billion and its footprint has expanded from Hong Kong to Mainland China and Australia.

    He was named one of Harvard Business Review’s 100 Best-Performing CEOs in the World 2018 and 2019, the Country Winner in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 China Award (Hong Kong/Macau Region) and Business Person of the Year by DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards in 2015.

    George gives back through numerous public service positions including being the chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Tracker Fund of Hong Kong (listed in Hong Kong), a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania, a member of the Asia-Pacific Advisory Board of International Council of Shopping Centers and a global governing trustee of the Urban Land Institute.

    Ariel Shtarkman
    Founder, Orca Capital Limited

    Ariel Shtarkman is the co-Founder and Managing Director of Atom Assets, a real estate investment platform for family offices. She is also the Founder of Orca Capital, boutique advisory practice, with main focus on sourcing and structuring real estate private transactions and selective capital raising from Asian investors toward cross-border transactions. Previously, Ariel was with Citibank Real Estate Structured Finance in Hong Kong, where she structured debt instruments for real estate developers, REITs and private equity funds. Before joining Citibank, she worked in real estate private equity funds sponsored by ING Clarion in New York (covering US) and ING Real Estate Investment Management in Hong Kong (covering Asia).

    Ariel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School with concentration in Real Estate, and BSc from Tel Aviv University with double major in Computer Science and Business Administration. She serves as Senior Content Advisor for ULI Asia Pacific, is a member of the ULI North Asia Executive Committee, and a founding member of Columbia Business School Alumni Network of Hong Kong. Ariel is fluent in English, Hebrew and Russian, and conversant in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Her other activities include martial arts, travel and the integration of
    technology and real estate.
     
    Phil Kim
    Managing Director, Asia, Jerde Partnership | ULI Global Governing Trustee

    Phil Kim is a  Board Member, Shareholder and Managing Director Asia Pacific at the Jerde Partnership, Inc. in Los Angeles and Hong Kong, focusing on Jerde’s constantly evolving Placemaking ideas that has impacted fast evolving cities, and has helped rejuvenated Asia cities with recognition of over 150 international design awards.
    He also advises private and public companies on innovations in mixed-use design, retail, urban revitalization, vertical cities and building social sustainability and the value of place. Langham Place Hong Kong, Roppongi Hills Tokyo, Queens Wharf Brisbane and the Quay Quarters Sydney are some of the past and present notable projects representative of a people-based design that draws over one billion visitors to Jerde projects around the world annually in twenty countries.
    As a member and volunteer for the Urban Land Institute,  he is currently a Global Governing Trustee, Co-Chair of the education program Urban Plan for Hong Kong and Asia, and a member of the Hong Kong Executive Council.
