UrbanPlan is a fun and interactive workshop in which teams compete to redevelop the fictional neighborhood of Elmwood. UrbanPlan teaches participants how to:
- Evaluate the economic benefits and risks of different land uses and building types
- Use a financial model to create an economically sustainable development
- Balance the conflicting needs and goals of community groups, the city and private investors.
UrbanPlan is used around the country to empower citizens to engage effectively in land use decisions with their communities.
