    Please join us for an afternoon tour & discussion of the Garden Theater Block Development project in Pittsburgh’s historic North Side presented by ULI Young Leaders Group & AIA Young Architects Forum. Rick Belloli (Q Development) and William Gatti (Trek Development Group) will share insights and challenges of preserving the 107-year-old historical building, while also bringing in 56 new residential units into the 21st century. 

     

    Attendees will meet at City of Asylum, where property tours will take place prior to the discussion. Each attendee will receive one free drink voucher. All participants in the property tour are required to wear closed toed shoes.

    Rick Belloli

    Principal, Q Development

    Rick is largely responsible for shaping Q’s community-based investment strategy. His two-plus decades of experience in real estate and community development has been key to positioning Q to make impactful investments at the neighborhood level. Rick’s experience in real estate includes the financing, development, and management of commercial, mixed-use, and residential properties. Rick has over 20 years of experience in community and economic development in Pittsburgh and Detroit. In 2011, he co-founded Civic Square LLC with his wife Lisa to provide comprehensive community revitalization guidance to investors, communities and nonprofit organizations engaged in economic development activities. Prior to launching Civic Square, he was Executive Director of South Side Local Development Company, a post he held for eight years. Rick currently serves on the Board of Radiant Hall Studios, an arts organization dedicated to the creation and preservation of affordable studios for working and emerging artists. He has a B.A. from the University of Michigan, two Master’s Degrees from Wayne State University, and also attended the Executive Education Program for Nonprofit Leadership at Stanford University.

    Bill Gatti

    President, TREK Development Group

    William Gatti is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of TREK Development Group, Inc. Bill is directly involved in all aspects of the property development process from conception through design, construction and management. He has extensive experience working with complex financial structures in the private and public/private partnership development markets. Since founding TREK Development Group and related companies in 1992, he is responsible for the development of a residential and commercial portfolio valued in excess of $500 million. Bill, is a native of Western Pennsylvania and he received a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll School of Management.
