    Patricia Larrabee

    Facility Logix

    Pat is the founder and President of Facility Logix. She has over 30 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, including several years as a bench researcher. For the past 20 years, Pat has applied her technical end-user knowledge to the facility-related needs of the industry. She advises developers and institutions across the United States and manages facility expansion and implementation programs for clients such as Eisai, George Mason University, Integrated Biotherapeutics, Johns Hopkins University, The Mayo Clinic, United Therapeutics, and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. Pat has conducted numerous feasibility studies for shared wetlab co-work, incubation, and accelerator facilities and has developed life science strategies for economic development groups across the country. Prior to founding Facility Logix, Pat was an Executive Vice President at Scheer Partners. Pat holds an MS in Biotechnology Management and a BA in Biology. In 2016, The Daily Record named Pat one of the Top 100 Women in Maryland.

    Matt Brady

    Since joining Scheer Partners in 2003, Matt Brady has successfully completed commercial real estate transactions for over 1,000,000 square feet of office, R&D and industrial space totaling close to $100 million in transaction value. For over six years Matt has concentrated his efforts on providing comprehensive real estate services and has extensive experience in executing complex projects consisting of leasing, strategic facility planning/consulting, acquisitions and financing. Matt’s knowledge of the market and dedicated problem-solving skills has enhanced his ability to add value to transactions through skilled and professional advice, superior negotiating skills and unique technical aptitude.

    Michele McIntire

    Senior Operations Manager, UPMC Enterprises

    Michele McIntire is the Senior Manager of Operations at UPMC Enterprises. Her main responsibilities include coordinating the efforts of architects, engineers, and contractors as they design and build office and lab research space for the new companies that Enterprises launches. Her career has been spent in interior design and healthcare almost exclusively. Michele has been with UPMC for over 16 years; 13 of which were spent with UPMC’s Corporate Construction and Real Estate as Manager of Facilities and Planning. While there, she worked on projects such as UPMC CHP, UPMC East, CHP South Fayette and the Lemieux Sports Complex, as well as many others including the relocation of UPMC’s headquarters from Oakland to the USS Tower. Her responsibilities included space planning, coordinating interior finishes and much of the FF&E, in support of the Project Managers. Michele holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Interior Design from IUP and is on their Interior Design Advisory Board.

    Megan Shaw

    Managing Director of Life Sciences & AlphaLab Health, Alphalab Health

    Megan serves as Managing Director, Life Sciences at Innovation Works (IW) and AlphaLab Health. In this role, she works to build the life sciences ecosystem in Southwestern Pennsylvania, identify promising startups, and mentor entrepreneurs. Megan is an entrepreneurial leader in the life science space with almost 20 years of experience in business strategy, M&A, fundraising and product development. She was VP of Marketing and Business Development at HemoSonics, a point of care diagnostics company, where she led the Commercial Leadership Team that took HemoSonics from a university spin-out to acquisition by a multinational. Her background in management consulting at Monitor Group and prior experience in private equity gives her a deep foundation in strategy development, growth initiatives, and investment diligence. She holds a BA with honors from Amherst College, where she majored in Economics.

    Jennifer Gigliotti

    Director of Operations, UPMC Enterprises

    Jennifer Gigliotti is the Director of Operations at UPMC Enterprises. Jennifer’s responsibilities include managing all real estate and facilities-related functions at UPMC Enterprises’ main campus, managing the entire UPMC Enterprises administrative team, developing internal policies and procedures, and overseeing event planning. Jennifer and her team are also responsible for real estate procurement, construction, and providing support to all UPMC Enterprises’ portfolio companies to help their facilities become fully operational. Jennifer began her career at UPMC. She brings extensive knowledge and experience from work on numerous projects for various divisions during her 30-year tenure. Having held positions as a project manager, operations coordinator, and operations manager. Jennifer is a results-oriented executive with a proven track record that has earned her numerous awards such as a Gold Star award from the UPMC Physician Services Division, Shining Star award from the UPMC Information Services Division, and the coveted ACES Award. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration and a certificate in Organizational Leadership and Change Management from Robert Morris University. Jennifer is also a member of the Executive Management Group.
