Based in Shanghai, Ken serves as ULI’s Executive Director in mainland China while running his own real estate consulting business. He has authored and edited various ULI publications including ULI case studies (Life Hub @ Daning, Knowledge and Innovation Community, Jeonju Hanok Village, and soon-to-be released reports on Bonifacio Global City and Lingnan Tiandi) and Ten Principles for Urban Regeneration – Making Shanghai a Better City. He also managed various ULI advisory panels, most recently Qianmen in Beijing and Sewoon Sangga in Seoul. His current business focus is applying BIM, especially virtualization technologies in design, development, and facility operation. Previously, he was Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where he worked in the firm’s real estate banking and investment team. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Ken had extensive experiences in cross-border M&A transactions at JP Morgan and investing in non-performing loans.A graduate of UCLA (BA, Econ Business) and University of Chicago (MBA).
