I Joined…Now What?
Step 1. Get connected. The best way to do this is to participate in activities hosted by the local District Council. Typically, ULI Pittsburgh is hosting quarterly breakfast events that average 80-120 people and provide a great opportunity to network with your peers. Young Leaders events are open to all, organized by our emerging leaders and focus on local projects, hard hat tours, and happy hour receptions. Members receive preferred pricing to all ULI Pittsburgh events, but we welcome you to invite friends and colleagues.
Step 2. Get involved. If you have unique interests, we’d invite you to take the next step and get involved directly with the Council. We have opportunities for our members in program and event design, as well as in participation on both the local and national stage, as ULI reaches into the community to find experts in industry. You may be connected in ways that we are not yet aware, so feel free to reach out to the Council office and help us understand who you are and how you want to be involved.
Step 3. Get invested. ULI, like any member organization, is simply better when people are invested in what we are doing. This means that members are supporting our events, inviting friends, and contributing both through attendance and sponsorship. With more funding, ULI Pittsburgh is able to offer more programs, more opportunities, and more investment into our own community. Visit our Membership and Sponsorship pages for more detailed information.
Step 4. Get moving. Those that get the most out of ULI really understand our organization. Participating in a Spring or Fall Meeting will take you to the next level of ULI and really help you to see the big picture.
