UrbanPlan
A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the UrbanPlan for Public Officials Workshops
For ULI Members – be a part of our newly developing UrbanPlan team. Participate in a volunteer training day, then help us deliver UrbanPlan to those serving in public official/agency roles to help better understand the complex world of development – during our UrbanPlan for Public Officials one day workshop.
The UrbanPlan Workshop is ideal for decision-makers who would like to learn more about the fundamental forces that shape the real estate development process. Working with its District Councils, the Urban Land Institute aims to engage the community in an interactive dialogue about the challenging issues, varying private and public sector roles, complex trade-offs, and economics that are at play in land use in communities across the country. Read more about UrbanPlan, who should attend, and the benefits of this national program.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES – NOW OPEN:
The ULI Pittsburgh UrbanPlan Team seeks to engage local member volunteers from various professional disciplines to participate in both trainings and workshops. Following the training, you will be identified as a facilitator and will be invited to future workshop dates to engage with community officials and developers.
These generous organizations have already agreed to help bring UrbanPlan to Pittsburgh while we continuing to raise support to enhance and expand this NEW initiative. Interested in partnering with ULI for impact initiatives like these? Contact the District Council Office for current opportunities.
