Women’s Leadership Initiative
The Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) was established nationally in 2011 as part of the Urban Land Institute’s Robert C. Larson Leadership Initiative and has since carried out its mission to raise the visibility and number of women leaders in ULI and the real estate industry.
A Conversation with…

These intimate gatherings convene ULI members and friends to hear about professional highlights and hurdles while enjoying an evening of relationship development with industry peers.

Advancing Leaders
In 2017, our local Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) kicked off the year-long “Advancing Leaders” series with a program and roundtable on NEGOTIATION. Continuing the focus on leadership, COMMUNICATE provided an opportunity to take a DiSC Assessment that included an evaluation and discussion of leadership styles. Alison Valli and Shirley Wulf of Dimensions Leadership Group facilitated the afternoon long event that was held at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. Late Fall concluded the Advancing Leadership series with a ‘Work of Leaders’ platform for mid-level and senior leaders on VISION, ALIGNMENT and EXECUTION.
