The Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) was established in 2011 as a program of the Urban Land Institute. The WLI supports local events and professional development opportunities, helping to increase both the number and visibility of more women leaders throughout ULI’s vast network.
ULI Pittsburgh’s WLI Steering Committee has grown our local district council to have 40% female membership. In addition, they have curated a series of programming to elevate women in the industry such as “A Conversation with…” and “Built by Women.”
The mission of the WLI is expressed in its four primary objectives:
ULI Pittsburgh’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Steering Committee meets the first Friday of every month at 9 AM.
For further information about ULI Pittsburgh’s WLI, contact WLI Co-Chairs Kirsten Compitello or Katie Walsh.
