The Grand Tour: Sold-Out

Hosted by the Young Leaders Group on Thursday, April 26, 50 attendees gathered for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the newly renovated Kaufmann’s Grand on Fifth Avenue. Located in the heart of downtown between Fifth Avenue and Forbes Avenue, this mixed-use development project boasts a stunning renovation and modern finishes. The evening began with time for networking, construction tour of the 9th Floor, and tour of a model apartment led by Roni Gilmore and Amanda Mason of CORE Realty. These luxury apartment amenities include: an iPad, built-in Amazon Alexa, two televisions, and a Turkish marble bathroom.

After tours, the program featured a panel discussion, moderated by Jim Ambrose – Business Director, Desmone Architects, unpacking what makes this building so unique. Many thanks to panelists Jeff Adams – Vice President, JLL; Randy McCombs, Executive Vice President, Cushman & Wakefield; John Minarik – Owner, JT & Son Construction; and Michaela Robbins – Regional Director, CORE Realty; who discussed in more detail the office retail, construction, and residential spaces that the building features, respectively.  Panelists explained that upon completion, the mixed-use building will include 312 luxury apartments, 150 room Even Hotel, 600 parking spaces, two levels of retail space, and a rooftop restaurant.
