The first program in our newly established event series “Let’s Talk About” featured a discussion of the Riverfront Zoning Ordinance, Implementation and Implications. Gathering at The Foundry Table & Tap on the North Shore speakers: Christine Mondor – Chair, Planning Commission Pittsburgh; Larry Fabbroni – Associate, Strada; and Andrea Lavin Kossis – Riverfront Development Coordinator, Department of City Planning. Moderated by Kevin McKeegan – Partner at Meyer, Unkovic & Scott, delivered a panel discussion sharing how the new legislation “RIV” aims to restore the ecological health of the riverfront, encourage new development, and maintain residents’ access to the riverfront. These content experts shared candidly the potential challenges around the ordinance and how it will impact organizations in the real estate industry.
