Work of Leaders: Vision, Alignment and Execution

As the final installment in a year-long series of Advancing Leaders, the Women’s Leadership Initiative presented Vision, Alignment and Execution on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.  Held at the Duquesne Club, attendees were able to participate in a full-day or half-day workshop featuring an accelerated DiSC Assessment morning session to prepare for an afternoon Work of Leaders Workshop.

Facilitated by Alison Valli and Shirley Wulf of Dimensions Leadership Group, this enrichment offered participants personalized information about their leadership styles, as well targeting areas of strength and challenge.  Those who took the accelerated DiSC experienced a hands-on workshop aimed at understanding leadership styles, content on how to communicate more effectively with other styles, and offered action plans to increase personal effectiveness in the workplace.

The afternoon Work of Leaders session further explored the three essential elements of leadership: Vision, Alignment, and Execution.  Attendees were able to delve into how their behaviors fall into these three categories.  Valli and Wulf created an engaging and interactive program that provided participants valuable information on how they lead, and how they can continue to advance their leadership overall.

It is with gratitude that we acknowledge our event sponsors below along with the WLI Steering Committee, ULI Executive Management Committee, and all those who participated in our 2017 yearlong ADVANCING LEADERS SERIES.
