ABOUT PARTNERSHIP WITH ULI PITTSBURGH: ANN SEKELY, SPONSORSHIP CHAIR

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is the oldest and largest network of cross-disciplinary real estate and land use experts in the world. ULI is its members. Through our members’ dedication to the mission and their shared expertise, ULI has been able to set standards of excellence in development practice. This year, ULI Pittsburgh aims to raise $80,000 in overall sponsorship revenues. We’re asking for your participation to meet that goal to further our impact and reach in the region.

As one of 50+ District Councils operating across the globe, ULI Pittsburgh experienced record membership growth in 2018, and is ranked as one of the top 5 fastest growing councils thanks to engaging events and member-driven local initiatives. Our District Council will regularly feature national trends with a local perspective using content-rich programming, tours, and relevant high-level conversations.

Annual giving helps us maintain professional staffing, monthly programming, and events essential to ULI’s mission and vision for our region, including support for two local affinity groups:

Young Leaders Group (YLG) is a local initiative that engages our members under age 35. Support for YLG is an investment in the next generation of real estate leaders. Featured programming includes behind the scenes tours, annual Educational Foodie Crawl and mentorship.

Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) – brings together local members, to network, and to raise the visibility and number of women leaders in ULI and the real estate industry. WLI is not a membership category, but an affinity group, and Programs are designed to be open to all regardless of gender. Featured programming includes “A Conversation with” series and leadership development opportunities.

Placemaking Awards for Excellence – has become a cornerstone to our program year. Celebrating all segments of the development community, this daytime awards event showcases excellence in placemaking through the people and projects that are transforming Pittsburgh’s landscape.

Please consider how your organization might partner with ULI Pittsburgh (a 501c3) in 2019, through annual sponsorship support and/or specific initiatives that will allow us to bring the values of the Urban Land Institute into focus in the year ahead.

Thank you in advance for your participation and support. Please review the attached partnership opportunities, and contact the District Council Office with your intent to contribute.
