ULI Pittsburgh is excited to announce our new Senior Manager, Emily Jo Gaspich!

The bi-lingual daughter of Greek immigrants, Georgia Petropoulos, is a people-focused leader delivering transformational community change and impact.
She is enthusiastic about creating compassionate, accessible, and inclusive environments, encouraging innovative idea sand creative problem solving, as well as language, culture, and design. As CEO of theOakland Business Improvement District, Georgia bridges the voices of Oakland’s various diverse sectors including government, business, real estate, ed’s and med’s, arts, and culture and leads a dynamic organization responsible for designing and executing innovative place management and economic development initiatives in support ofPennsylvania’s third largest economic center.
Georgia serves on various boards and committees including thePresbyterian University Hospital/Shadyside Board of Directors and Quality PatientCare Committee, the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County Task Force onDisabilities and the Oakland Transportation Management Association.
She completed executive training at the Center for Creative Leadership in San Diego,California and is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh. She earned aBachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies/ French Language & Literature from theUniversity of Pittsburgh and a Master of Architecture from Washington University.
At ULI, I have found my community, I have found people who, like me, are passionate about all things design and places, and who understand that the built environment is simply the means to a much more transformative end.
